What RosterFlow is

RosterFlow is a browser extension that helps school staff build NWEA MAP Growth roster files from their existing school information system, entirely on their own device. It automates steps a staff member is already authorized to perform by hand.

Your authority to use it

You confirm that you are authorized by your school or district to access the student data you use RosterFlow with, and to run automated tools within your own authenticated school-system session. RosterFlow acts only within the session you are already signed in to, performing actions you are permitted to perform yourself. You are responsible for ensuring your use complies with your organization's own agreements and policies.

Licenses and keys

• Full automated roster building requires a valid license key. Free tools (adding students to a roster, comparing two roster files) are available without a key.
• A license key is issued to a named school or organization and may be limited by number of devices, number of roster builds, and/or an expiry date.
• You agree not to share, resell, publish, or attempt to circumvent the limits of a license key. Keys may be revoked if these Terms are breached.
• We may verify a key's validity over the internet. No student data is transmitted during this check — only the key's identifier and an anonymous device identifier (see the Privacy Policy).

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use RosterFlow with data you are not authorized to access.
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the Extension's internal methods or field configurations.
• Use the Extension to violate any law or any third party's terms, rights, or policies.
• Interfere with or disrupt the Extension or the systems it runs on.

Student data

RosterFlow processes student data entirely on your device and never transmits it to us or any third party. Your school remains the data controller for its own student records at all times. How data is handled is described in the Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

Availability and changes

RosterFlow relies on the layout and behavior of third-party systems it does not control. Those systems can change without notice and temporarily affect how the Extension works. We may update, change, or discontinue the Extension or any feature at any time.

Disclaimer of warranties

THE EXTENSION IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE EXTENSION WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR THAT ITS OUTPUT WILL BE COMPLETE OR ACCURATE. YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR REVIEWING ANY ROSTER FILE BEFORE IMPORTING OR RELYING ON IT.

Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR EXEMPLARY DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF, OR INABILITY TO USE, THE EXTENSION. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATED TO THE EXTENSION WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE LICENSE IN THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM.

Termination

You may stop using the Extension at any time by removing it. We may suspend or terminate a license for breach of these Terms. Provisions that by their nature should survive (disclaimers, limitation of liability, acceptable use) survive termination.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, United Kingdom. Any disputes relating to these Terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms; the effective date above will change. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
