Tug of War: Math
Press Create Game, choose Tug of War Math, pick a grade and the maths, then Save and host. Students type answers on a number pad.
Steps
Step 1: Press Create Game and choose Tug of War Math.
On your computerStep 2: On the Preset tab, choose a grade (KG1 to G12) and What maths?.
Tick Multiple to mix operations, such as + and -. A custom range lets you set the numbers.
Step 3: Check the Sample cards, and choose First to how many right answers wins.
Step 4: Name the game and press Save & host.
On Free, a Math game keeps the settings it was created with. Pro lets you change them any time.
Step 5: In the lobby, choose Random or Rush for teams, set the time, then press Start game.
Common questions
Can I write my own questions?
Yes, on the Advanced settings tab. It is part of Pro. You can set your own cards, such as solve for x, squares and roots.
How do students answer?
Every answer is one number, typed on the number pad on the student's own tablet or device.
