Add a question yourself
Press the + between slides, choose a kind, type the question and answers, and tick the right one. The card then says Ready to host.
Steps
Step 1: Open your lesson and find the + between two slides (or at the end of the list).
With your slides in a strip below, the menu opens as a row of tiles above the strip.
On your computerStep 2: Press + and choose a kind, such as Quiz or True / False.
A padlock marks a kind that needs Pro.
Step 3: Type the question in the Question prompt box.
A question holds up to 140 characters, and a Fill the blank sentence up to 300.
Step 4: Type the answers and tick the right one. A quiz takes 2 to 6 answers.
A poll has no ticks, because it is never scored.
Step 5: Under the question, set Time to answer, or leave it at 0 for no timer.
With no timer, you end the question yourself when the class is ready.
Step 6: Check the card says Ready to host. If it shows a warning, the message says what is missing.
