Run the room: reveal, timer, leaderboard
Launch each question, watch answers arrive, end it to show the result, then press Continue. The board has a timer, pause and a top-five leaderboard.
Steps
Step 1: Press Launch question on a question slide.
It says Launch activity when the slide holds several questions.
On your computerStep 2: If the question has a timer, it counts down on the board. Press ❚❚ Pause to stop the clock and ▶ Resume to carry on.
With no timer, the board says "Untimed" and you end the question yourself.
Step 3: Watch the count of answers in the bottom bar. Press it to see who has answered.
Step 4: Press End question to show the correct answer and the class result.
A question with a timer ends by itself when the time is up.
Step 5: Press Continue to return to the slides, or Skip next to skip the next one.
Step 6: For a leaderboard, switch on Leaderboard in the lobby before you start. It shows a top 5 after each question.
Points go to the report whether it is on or off.
Common questions
Are polls scored?
No. A poll only collects votes, and the board marks it "no points". Its results still show in your report.
Can I end the lesson and carry on later?
Yes. When slides are left, End lesson asks "Finish here, or continue later?". You can continue a lesson for 21 days, and the bell reminds you in the last five.
