Steps

  1. Step 1: Open a question and press Read question aloud, next to the timer.

Once it is on, the button reads Question read aloud.

    On your computer
  2. Step 2: Choose Female or Male, and a reading speed from 0.5 times to 1.5 times.

Cazuz shows the language it detected, such as English or Arabic.

  3. Step 3: Edit the text box if you want a different pronunciation, then press Try to listen.

Changing the text does not change what students see.

  4. Step 4: Press Insert to save the voice.

  5. Step 5: Each answer can carry its own speaker too. Press the speaker on an answer to let students hear it.

Students tap the speaker on their own device. Nothing plays by itself.

Common questions

Does it cost credits?

No. Read aloud is free on every plan and is not an AI credit. It is available in English, Arabic and French.

Why can't a student hear it?

Their device needs sound on and an internet connection, and they have to tap the speaker. See the No sound guide for the checks.
