Steps

  1. Step 1: In a lesson, open a question and press Read question aloud. In an activity, press Read aloud at the top and tick the questions.

In an activity, press Apply to save your ticks.

    On your computer
  2. Step 2: Choose a Female or Male voice and a reading speed from 0.5 times to 1.5 times. Press Try to listen.

Cazuz picks the language from the words you wrote.

  3. Step 3: Press Insert in a lesson to save the voice for that question.

The text box can differ from the question, for a different pronunciation. Students still see the original question.

  4. Step 4: Students tap the speaker button on their own device to hear it.

Nothing plays by itself, so a whole class never talks at once.

Common questions

Which languages can it read?

English, Arabic (UAE) and French. Cazuz detects the language from the question text, so a question written in Arabic is read in an Arabic voice.

Where does the voice come from?

Cazuz sends only the words to be spoken to Microsoft's speech service. It receives no student data, no account and no identifier. The Privacy page explains this.
