Make a quiz from any topic with AI
Type a topic into Cazuz, such as Grade 5 solar system, choose how many questions you want, and AI writes the quiz in about 20 seconds. You check and edit every question, then play it live on the board or set it as self-grading homework.
How to make a quiz from a topic
Pick what you are making
Press Create Game for a Live Quiz or Tug of War Quiz on the board, or Create Activity for homework such as an Assessment.
Choose From a topic
In the pop-up, press From a topic. Starting from scratch is there too if you would rather write your own.
Describe the quiz
Type what the quiz is about. Naming the grade helps, such as Grade 5 solar system. Pick how many questions and which question types to include.
Generate
Press Generate. For most quizzes, ten questions is where it starts. It usually takes about 20 seconds and uses one AI credit.
Edit, then play or assign
Read every question and answer, change what you like, then host it on the board or assign it to a class.
What you get
- Questions shaped for where they play: sized for the board in a Live Quiz, short answers the back row can read in Tug of War, sized for students' screens in homework
- The language of your topic. Type it in Arabic and the quiz comes back in Arabic
- Only the question types you switch on
- A quiz you can edit like any other, before a student sees it
- A report on every student and every question after the game or the homework
Questions teachers ask
- Is the AI quiz generator free?
- The free plan includes AI credits every month. A quiz from a topic uses one credit, and if it fails the credit comes back. Credits refill on the 1st of each month.
- Are the AI questions always right?
- AI can make mistakes, which is why every quiz opens in the editor first. Read each question and answer before students see it, and fix or delete anything that is off.
- Which AI does Cazuz use?
- Anthropic's Claude. It receives the topic you type, and Anthropic does not use it to train its models.
- Can I make a quiz in Arabic or French?
- Yes. Write the topic in that language and the questions and answers come back in it. An English topic gets English questions unless the topic asks for another language.
- Can I add my own questions too?
- Yes. The generated quiz is yours to edit: change the wording, delete questions, or add your own by hand.
- Can students take it as homework?
- Yes. Make it an Activity instead of a Game, then assign it to a class with a link or QR code, a deadline and a number of attempts. It marks itself.
