Questions teachers ask

Which is best for lessons?
It depends on where your slides live. Pear Deck runs inside Google Slides or PowerPoint Online, and Nearpod takes PowerPoint, PDF or Google Slides, with 22,000+ ready-made resources and questions inside videos. Cazuz puts your PDF or PowerPoint on every student's screen, AI suggests questions from your slides, and a lesson can be paused and picked up another day in one report. PowerPoint becomes still slides in Cazuz, so animations do not play.
Which is best for live quiz games?
Kahoot!, Blooket and Wayground are built around live games. Blooket lists 25+ modes and Kahoot! about 12, and Kahoot! and Wayground allow bigger rooms (up to 800 and 1,000 players on their top plans). Cazuz has Live Quiz with speed points, double or triple points and a podium, Tug of War as a Red vs Blue team game on the board, and Carnival, with up to 300 players on Complete.
Do students need accounts?
Not on Cazuz, Kahoot!, Nearpod, Wordwall or Blooket. Pear Deck makes accounts optional. Wayground students can join by code, but need accounts for classes and attempt limits. On Cazuz, students go to cazuz.net/play, type the code and a nickname. No email, no login.
Can I use my own slides?
Yes on Cazuz (PDF or PowerPoint, every plan), Nearpod (PowerPoint, PDF or Google Slides), Wayground (Google Slides or PDF) and Pear Deck (inside Google Slides or PowerPoint Online). Kahoot! imports slides from Silver ($84/yr); its questions and answers can show on student devices, but slides on student screens are not documented. Wordwall and Blooket do not run slide lessons.
Is there a free plan with AI?
Yes, several. Pear Deck's free plan includes Pear Start with unlimited use, Wayground Basic includes 10 AI credits a month, Nearpod's free plan has 5 generations, and Cazuz Free has 3 AI credits a month, including AI that reads your own slides. The free plans of Kahoot!, Wordwall and Blooket do not include AI.
Is Cazuz affiliated with these companies?
No. Cazuz is an independent product. It is not affiliated with, endorsed or sponsored by Kahoot! AS, Quizizz Inc. (Wayground), Renaissance Learning (Nearpod), Visual Education (Wordwall), GoGuardian (Pear Deck) or Blooket LLC.
