Turn a worksheet into a quiz or activity
Press Create Activity, choose Assessment, then From a worksheet. Upload a Word, PDF, PowerPoint or Excel file and Cazuz pulls out its questions.
Steps
Step 1: Press Create Activity in the left menu.
For a live game, press Create Game and pick Live Quiz. The worksheet pop-up works the same way.
On your computerStep 2: Press Create on the Assessment card.
Carnival is part of Pro and uses the same pop-up.
On your computerStep 3: Press From a worksheet in the pop-up.
On your computerStep 4: Choose your worksheet file, or drop it on the box.
Cazuz reads the text in your browser and sends only the text to the AI, never the file. A PDF made only of scanned pictures is refused, because it has no text. Try the Word file instead. Older .doc, .ppt and .xls files need saving again as .docx, .pptx or .xlsx.
On your computerStep 5: Choose how many questions and which kinds the AI should write.
The AI keeps your worksheet's language: Arabic stays Arabic, English stays English. Right answers marked in bold, underline or highlight are read too. On Free, the padlocked kinds need Pro.
On your computerStep 6: Press Import worksheet and wait, usually under a minute.
A box called "Your worksheet is in" may mention pictures it could not read, a very long file or questions left out. Press Open the editor.
On your computerStep 7: Read through the questions in the editor and change anything you like.
The activity is already saved. Nothing goes to students until you press Assign.

Common questions
Which files work, and how big?
.docx, .pdf, .pptx and .xlsx files. Older .doc, .ppt and .xls files need saving again in the new format.
Is my file sent to the AI?
Only the text. Cazuz reads the file in your browser and sends just the words, never the file or its pictures.
Why was my PDF refused?
A PDF made only of scanned pictures has no text to read. Try the Word version of the worksheet instead.
