Students can't join
Check the five-letter code on your board, make sure the lobby is unlocked and the lesson is running, then try again at cazuz.net/play.
Try these, in order
Step 1: Ask the student to read the code straight off your board and type it at cazuz.net/play.
A code is five letters and never contains A, E, I, O or U. Small letters are fine.
On your computerStep 2: If the page says Lesson not found (or "No game is running"), check the lesson is still open on your screen.
This message means the code is wrong or the lesson has finished. Cazuz cannot tell which. Keep your host tab open while students join.
Step 3: If it says The teacher locked this lesson, press Lock lobby on your board to open it again.
A locked lobby lets in nobody new. Students already inside stay in.
Step 4: If it says the lesson or game is full, make room or change plan. The next guide shows how.
Free holds 40 students in a lesson or a game.
Step 5: If the name is refused, ask for a different one: 2 to 20 letters, and not already used in the room.
The message says "Someone is already in the lesson with that name". Adding a surname fixes it.
Step 6: If it says it could not reach the server, check the device is online, then press Try a different code and start again.
A student you removed can join again with the code, unless the lobby is locked.
Common questions
The code is right but it says "not found". Why?
Either the lesson has ended or the code has a typo. Cazuz cannot tell the two apart, so check that your host tab is still open and the code on the board matches.
Do students need to sign in to join?
No. They open cazuz.net/play, type the code and a name. Students never need an account.
